Grilled romaine vegan césar

Ingredients

  • 4 romaine hearts
  • 3 slices of sunflower bread ( or any bread you like)
  • Homemade vegan cesar dressing ( check my vegan Cesar video)
  • Red onion
  • Lime

 

 

 

Directions

  • Cut onion into rounds
  • Grill romaine hearts whole till u see a light char (do not slice ends off till after they are grilled)
  • Add the slices of bread onto the grill till brown
  • Add red onion to grill
  • Remove all items cut ends off of romaine and layer onto serving plate
  • Break mop red onion and lay on top
  • Cut bread into small bite sized squares and sprinkle on dish
  • Drizzle homemade dressing across dish several times
